Cichlids as a whole are extremely hardy species and can live outside of their normal water parameters and thrive.

In the aquarius world, they'd take over any tank in no time.

If peacock are struggling in a given water way, I can only imagine the stress on native species.

It’s low temps that got the peacocks in (and less so snakehead and snook where I’m at). The native fish were fine, the water got to the upper 50s for a day or so.
