vatech Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 I will be visiting North Myrtle Beach from 1-25 through 2-5 and I was wondering what type(s) of fishing are available there? Is the area known for any particular type of fishing and what is good right now this time of year? I would love to have a contact that I could call and charter a boat for some offshore fishing. I appreciate any info! Quote
Thefishy1 Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 It is COLD here right now, but if we can get a few days of 50 degree days by then the bass bite in all of the ponds around here will pick up. Currently the 20 degree nights are kind of messing them up. Also I know some charter boats around here, but I do not know about the fishing offshore now. I usually go May-Aug. Quote
Reelin Wahoo Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 When I went down there last spring I booked a half day fishing trip with Super Voyager deep sea fishing. They have packages for whatever you want to do but you should check the winter schedules and fishing reports to see how things are going now. I can't post their website yet (new member) but search online for it. They are out of Calabash NC which is very close to North Myrtle. Quote
