I don't think there is a better drop shot lure than a 3" senko. They also work great on slider heads skipped under docks.

The only time I ever caught fish on a dropshot rig it was with 3" senkos!

bigger bait != bigger fish

Thats not really true when it gets cold. You can catch giants in the fall/winter on grubs and they are alot smaller then the average plastic worm.

Got one- 1 lb dink on the Occ Riv today. Right across from the ramp. Hit a gold rattle after I let it sink. Not one hit after.

We threw everything except topwaters.

fished from noon till 3 got about 12 large mouths all on 3 and 4inch senkos, big fish was pushing 4lbs, tried frogs spinnerbaits, and a popper only had one fish miss a popper. Also had a few snakeheads followin the senkos.

you cant keep posting up every day sayin your catching 12-15 bass without some pics. Post'em up and tell me where youre catchin all these fish. I have been back to hunting creek 2 times since I went with thai and not even a nibble on anything I threw.

"!=" means "Does not equal" in programming. He was saying that big baits don't necessarily mean big fish.

I'm actually with shimmy. I don't care enough about catching a few dinks to end a crappy day to tie on a 3" senko. At the end of a crappy day, they don't make me feel any better.

I got a pic of one on my phone ill see about posting it up.  I havent had much luck up in the creek either as of late.  However, at high tide off the front of riverside park is a different story plently of fish there just gotta find them and hammer them quick before tide starts out.

I'm up for fishing on Thursday but I have to walk a dog at least in the afternoon around 3:30 and maybe that morning but I'm not sure yet. I'll know whether or not I have to go Thursday in the morning by tomorrow.

Where we going?

if the rain keeps up like this then we're lookin at 3 straight days of rain not to mention some murky water. Hopefully the weather forecast is totally wrong.

I have noticed not many agree about the 3 inch sinko. Thats ok, my focus is to catch bigger bass and i understand every other leap year someone tags a big bass with a fly or something small. In addition, this is not to say 'littlehuntingcreek" hasn't caught a big bass before, just sayin your PB is probably not from the 3" girl bait. What, what did i say? I think the 12 fish you caught the other day probably looked like MR. Smileys pet goldfish.

I caught around 50 3-4lb smallmouth on 3" senkos on a drop shot for 5 straight days at Bob's Lake in Westport Canada this summer. Throw that drop shot out in 30+ feet on a point and just let it sit there, I got slammed! I don't throw them in grass beds or on a Carolina Rig but for skipping docks and fishing rocky structure in 35 feet of water they are awesome. A 3" senko still looks like a minnow and will catch big fish.
