Finally we are going to get a cold front.  With lows in the 40s for a few days the water should cool off and the fishing heat up.  I can't wait for Friday to get here but I need to find my fishing shoes.  We have fished in shorts and flip flops since before we moved (in June) and I have not unpacked all of my misc garage boxes.

Killed them this morning just as that cold air was pushing through on topwaters then giant worms. Got to love it! The cranking bite never quite made it today though and suprisingly since it has been off the hook the last few weeks.

I was wearing shorts, sandals, and a T and froze my arse off though since it was drizzling and 15 mph wind. ;D

Traveling west on 60 yesterday crossing Kissimee , those pad fields down by the bridge looked nice,I don't know the depth but they seem worth checking out.

You been there FD?

Hey Rob

One of my favorite spots. When the water is running you can catch hundreds within site of that bridge. Not monsters but a lot of fun. A little further north along the deep channel is where the big girls hang out. When you get some time let me know and we will go catch a few.

Sounds good Lee, Iv been busy chasing those rascals around Big O. Its been feast or famine.

I came in 2nd last week, my partner lost an 8 plus that would have given us the win and big fish.

The week prior I had a hawg short strike me at the boat, she had only the legs of the toad in her mouth, I set up and heard the rubber snap. 1/2 hour later my partner has the same thing happen with another Pig.

Maybe my luck will change this Saturday.
