hooked113 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I just wanted to know if anyone has fished here lately. IF you did how did you do? What depth of water did u catch the fish? Thank you Quote
shimmy Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 best advice to you for these lakes, get there early and bring a pen and paper, and watch where the avid fisherman motor off to and stop. These lake get so much pressure and your best bet is following others in the beginning. This is the boat i am in right now. I doubt people are going to tell you where there 8 pound largemouth honey hole is. Become the bass bandit and put your time into it. I am going to start this pretty soon. Sometimes you just have to watch others fish to catch the fish. Quote

LOL the 8lb honey hole, more like the 12lb honey hole, 8's arent that uncommon at briery and sandy Just work the coves, submerged timber and drop off under the powerlines at briery, I've never been to sandy or swift so I couldnt tell you Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted November 25, 2009 Super User Posted November 25, 2009 I don't fish Swift Creek but I do fish Briery Creek Lake and Sandy River Lake near Farmville. I fished both of them last week. I'll PM you with some info Quote
