shadchasin Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I went to this place called Fountainhead today and it looks great. However I only caught one on a texas rigged worm. Any ideas of what goes on this time of year out there. Quote

T.R. Express Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 New, C-rigged or T-rigged lizards, spinnerbaits, and jigs are the primary baits at Fountainhead. As the summer moves on and it gets hotter, you'll have to slow your technique and stick to main channel points. Top water action at Fountainhead isn't as strong as the Potomac, however you will catch an agressive one now and again. The shoreline can be fished but it is advantageous to rent a boat with a trolling motor. On the weekends a man named Smokey works the rental office and will always give great pointers of the week! David Russell Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I was at Fountainhead last weekend and nothing was happening. So I went and tried at Accotink today. I came here last week and heard great action was happening at Burke and Accotink. Now I come here this week and hear great things about Fountainhead. It appears I'm in a lose/lose pattern. Quote
Super User Sam Posted June 13, 2009 Super User Posted June 13, 2009 David, Don't fret. These things happen. You will do great in the future. Be sure to send photos. Quote
