hi_steel_basser Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 These lures look and sound pretty interesting. Just wondering if anybody has them, likes or dislikes. Also is there any video of these things in action and where the best place to buy them is. A local store that carries swimbaits, reaction innovation lures, etc. doesn't have any around. I really want to know more before I spend Lucky Craft money on one(or two). Quote
Guest avid Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Howdy y'all. I bought an anthrax from http://www.extremelures.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=48 I thought the idea was brilliant. I got it in a golden shiner type finish which is common forage in my lake. Problem is it'a not a great bass bass catcher. It looks great on the water and SHOULD work. but even though I like playing around with it because it is truly a fun bait to fish. In all honesty I can't say that it works particularly well. If you decide to get one and find the "key" to getting strikes, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeze pm me with the details. good luck and have fun. avid Quote
Super User Raul Posted January 8, 2007 Super User Posted January 8, 2007 I 've got both, the Anthrax and the Anthrax 100, like Avid said, it 's really a fun bait to fish with, I began with the Anthrax but it 's not that great bait unless you are after numbers, it does catches lots of dinks though, I think the bait is small. The Anthrax 100 is a larger bait and should work better for slightly larger fish, can 't comment anything about it yet, recently I bought a couple to test because it was larger but I haven 't fished with them. Super User T-rig Posted January 8, 2007 Super User Posted January 8, 2007 I caught quit a few bass in early spring at the mouth of rivers and creeks. Use stop and go or twitching it like a pencil bait. deadsticking also works! I think the Anthrax 100 is great! Quote
hi_steel_basser Posted January 9, 2007 Author Posted January 9, 2007 Thanx, everybody, I was looking for a site where I can watch it in action. I want one but I have to be convinced. ;) Thanks for your help. Quote
