jaystraw Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Hi everyone. I live up in NH and I'm heading to the Grand Cypress Villas in Orlando for a charity golf tournament and benefit concert this thursday. Instead of golfing, I'd like to do some fishing. Grand Cypress has a private 25 acre lake which has free fishing (Lake Windsong), but I'm a little worried about what they are going to have for tackle, fishing pressure, etc... Does anyone have any good ideas on a guide on Lake Toho or something else close to where I am staying? Any other general advice is welcome as I've never gotten a guide anywhere before. Thank you! surfer Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 http://www.gatorbass.com/ This guy is friends with my neighbor so I am always hearing fishing stories from him. Apparently toho is on right now. One 10 lb this month a few 8 lb fish per week and a couple of 5 lb daily. I imagine other guides who specialize in toho are doing similar. I don't know lake Windsong, but if their tackle is in bad shape then the pressure may be very light. You could probably show those fish something they haven't seen before. Quote
