riverbuddies3 Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Since I will be staying in The villages at lady lake, which one of these lakes would be the best bet for my wife and I to take some good lmb in mid-jan? We have never fished either one. We will be coming down from Tennessee. Any help would be appreciated. Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted December 4, 2008 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted December 4, 2008 Johns Lake, without a doubt, is much better. Quote
Pigwase Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 The Villages are quite a drive down to both lakes. Lake Yale is on the far North end of the Harris chain. It is now blocked off from the rest of the chain. It is a much better option than Dora and arguably as good as Johns. There are several small chains in the N Lake county area. The Holly chain is another in that area. Wildcat lake is up in the forrest, and it is catch and release only. Supposedly a nice place to catch some biggun's. Ive been there once, not much luck. But Yale is always pretty good. Quote
