Maloverde Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Hello All - I'm farely new to the area (Stafford) and haven't had too much time to fish. I live off of Hope Drive in Stafford and would like to learn about fishing in the Willow Landing area. I don't have any experience fishing brim waters. Any advice for fishing the harbour would be appreciated. What types of fish are in there and some good methods? I fished for bass there once in my 12ft jon. Hooked a bass but didn't land it. Any pan fish to take my four year to catch? Thanks in advance! Quote
VekolBass Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 I fish Aquia Creek all the time, but have only went back in that area once. I understand that there are a good number of bass there, and particularly this time of year, there is some good crappie and perch fishing to be had. Quote
Maloverde Posted November 3, 2008 Author Posted November 3, 2008 Thanks, friend! I went by Gander Mountain on rte 3 today and spoke to a very helpful man in the fishing section. He fishes the area quite often and gave me a lot of pointers for fishing there. Living this close to water is a dream come true. Thanks again. Quote
