Welcome Aboard!

Spend some time reading through "Fishing Articles" at the top of the page. Start with "Beginners" and read all the articles and links! This will get you started and provide a good base to build on.

Here is a suggestion to get you jump-started:

Welcome to BR, Magnum!! It is the BEST bass fishing forum on the Net, IMO:o) I've been fishing Senkos and jigs w/4" tubes real slow so far this year and have had fair success. I'm experimenting with Fat Ikas as per RW's recommendation and I know I'm only one cast away from landing a lunker on one!!! Drop shot rigs with 5" Senkos wacky rigged are producing well here in So CA too. I might try some of that tomorrow. I also want to start throwing top water frogs and Hula Poppers into the tullies early AM.

Again, WELCOME to BR!!!

RW...u r da man.  You gave my welcome aboard a year or 2 ago.  Great thread you linked to.

Second the welcome aboard.  One little piece of advice.  If you can, save up some money and go get you a new combo.  Fishing is fun but fishing with good equipment is fun-ner.  Plus if you had a new combo, you'd be fishin more too which is a good deal......
