BassMasteratAge13 Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Ive Been fishing alot lately and ive been catching some fish. But i been experimenting on alot of lures and ive only found a plastic ZETA paddle Tail worm to be effective. And the only thing that i get another hit on rarely is a popper or a spinner bait. I am fishing in about 2-7 feet of murky water with lots of lilly pads and weeds and docks and cat tails and stuff like that. So i was wondering what do you guys think would be effective for these conditions and at what times???? Thanks ;D Quote

BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted August 17, 2008 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted August 17, 2008 I would use a dark frog where the grass and pads mix, particularly on the south side of the lake near I-4. A shallow diving, wide wobble crank bait in firetiger near the docks and any offshore structure. Large plastic like a bitters bat, gambler flappy daddy or zoom ultra vibe speed craw. Use dark colors like junebug and rig them texas style and flip the edges particularly where the vegetation changes. As far as when, well that would be when you have the chance. I have not found the astro tables to be very accurate at predicting times. I have caught big fish morning, noon and night during the summer so fish when you can. Let me know how you do. Quote
