I usually fish Johns Lake with some excursions into a couple of the chains around Central Florida. I just joined this forum to find some additional ideas as there is so much pressure on the water I fish. Anybody know of any suggestions in and around West Orange and Lake Counties?

You might want to check out Holly Chain or Lake Yale, which are both in Lake county.  They are both nice lakes and a little less pressured than Johns Lake or the other big chains.

Yes Toho and Kissimmee are that busy.

You add together at least 2 tourneys a weekend from City Ramp, South Port, Cypress Resort, Camp Mack, and Grape Hammock and figure out how much pressure those fish get.

If you want to venture into east Polk Co, then check out the Winter Haven chain, and around Auburndale.  The water has been down all spring allowing for only a few small tourneys.
