I am staying around baker island (baker point), the mariot golf course. I have no boat, and want to know the techniques for catching some big fish right off the beach. Please help me out!!

Thanks in advance

Go get a three way swivel. Tie one section of line(3') with a pyramid sinker (oz or more) and <15# test. Tie the other section of line (3')with 20# test or more wind a single shank or treble hook. Kahle and circle hooks are great. Use live shrimp, cigar minnows, pilchards, croakers, menhaden, or sandfleas for bait. Sit back and enjoy a few cold ones.

You can also use a balloon tied about 2-4' above the hook with live bait. Or rig with a large egg singer, swivel, leader, hook/bait (my favorite).

If you want to stick with artificial. Bucktails, spoons, and mirror lures work great.

Why does basspro suck?

The snook are moving in the cuts, by the jettys, any live bait. on the balloon  rig FF described will work. Cant keep them.

Are there any dead baits that will work?

P.S. I'm out there looking for a good fight and a good picture, not dinner.  ;)

Thanks guys
