Whats up everyone, is there anyone fimilar with these waters out in davie, plantation, and/or coopercity areas. Im looking for a new lake/spot for a change. I fish the canal behind my house...i believe it connects to orange drive cannals and 84 canals. i have a alot of large bass in there, also a bunch of snook, and tarpoon at times. But i have been having horrible luck lately. Its dark mercky water. I switch off using 7.5-8 " charlies/ culprit red chad worms (during the day) and in the morning or dusk i am most using flukes. i am on land so no boat...and using crank baits are hard out here because of the shore lines. Any help for fishing my canal....or any new spot out here are well appriciated. thanks

There is an industrial park off 136th ave. that has a couple lakes in it. It is between Sunrise Blvd. and 595 on the west side and the lakes in the Residences of Sawgrass Mills hold some big largemouth and peacocks.  I used to live in there and caught tons of fish.  You can also go to Markham Park off of 84 west of the Sawgrass Expressway.  I used flukes and zoom Horny Toads and did real well at all of these spots. It has been about 2 years since fishing them though.  Hope this helps.
