Has anyone fished Sardis lake recently? The past weekend was horrible with wind and tornadoes. Help me if you can. Thanks and catch one for me.

Not Sardis but I have fished Enid 3 times this past week, done decent first 2 days and nothing was hitting Sunday after the big rain, water very very muddy.  Give it a week or two and it will clear up some, along will come good fishing.

Second hand information from a friend that was there last week...

With the water as high as it is, they're real spread out - they did pretty well with small chartreuce spinnerbaits with copper blades thrown in and around cover

Our club had a tournament there last weekend.  The winner had 10 pounds.  The lake was muddy and it was windy.  Most people reported catching a couple of slots.  Only about 4 overs were weighed in.  It was actually a pretty good tournament given the conditions.

I would give more information, but with the St. Jude Tournament coming up on the 25th and the U of M tournament this weekend, I don't want to give away information to people trolling the boards.

Best of luck to those planning on fishing.
