The_Natural Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 The Stacey King Jerkbait was on sale all last month for $10, but I was hesistant to order because I knew they had just redesigned this bait and moved the lip forward to the front of the minnow, like the Pointer and Slender Pointer. I thought they may be just getting rid of the old style, but I went ahead and pulled the trigger, because the price was right. I was elated when my package came today with my sale baits, and they were the new design. Here they are...they look like they should have a very erratic action, like the slender pointer, and appear to run shallower than a Pointer. Quote
The_Natural Posted January 5, 2007 Author Posted January 5, 2007 Crap...I thought I was in the tackle section. Mods- please move my thread...thanks! Quote
cabela10 Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Nice location of the Stacey King signature. I believe that will catch you more fish alone. Quote

BPS website still shows the old style so how do you know which version you are getting? Quote
Craw Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Good looking baits! I am VERY interested in your thoughts on this model after you spend some time fishing it. Please, keep us posted. Quote
The_Natural Posted January 8, 2007 Author Posted January 8, 2007 BPS website still shows the old style so how do you know which version you are getting? I'm not sure. I called BPS's customer service and asked that same question, and the rep obviously had no idea about any redesign. The only way I knew they had redisgned it in the first place was when I saw the two new colors online, and noticed they were a different design. I just rolled the dice when I ordered, and the fact I ordered 8 of the baits and they all were the new style leads me to believe the old style is history. I'll update this whenever I get them wet.
