I took my 2 girls bluegill fishing at some local community ponds on Saturday.  Caught a bunch of bluegills, crappie and some other panfish type that I didn't recognize.

There was also a feisty turtle that kept trying to steal our worms.  We also saw a monster of a snapping turtle.  Anyway, this was the highlight of the day...

I waived my daughters hook around it's head and it took the bait.

No LM's this weekend, but it was fun.

Paul, that is cool that your daughters enjoy fishing with you.  Hopefully when they get a little older they will catch some nice size fish.  Great picture by the way, thanks for sharing.

That's terrifific :)  My little girl wouldn't have gone within 10 feet of that frog.  Looks like you have a real live one on your hands, good luck in 13 years :P

Awesome pic - it sounds like a great day.  I have a girl going on four and she imitates daddy fishing.  "Wow", she says while setting an imaginary fish, making my wife and friends laugh their heads off.  Are they laughing at me or her!

Raisin em' up right there Paul.  Looks like they had a bunch of fun.   That is a BIG frog lol.  I remember catching those things when I was little but not nearly that big lol.  Wow.
