Weekend trip is on deck everyone?

Both of these lakes are incredible

but i am worried about not know enough about Tenroc and the Pits, and/or killing the boat navigating around Stick Marsh?

Gimme your opinions?

So far Tenroc is winning!

Both are great. Don't judge Tenoroc too harsh because someone went and didn't do any good with a front coming through. I've never fished Stick Marsh, but I've fish a pit next to it and done quite well. To fish it... you cannot use a motor of any type or even have one on your boat! Trolling motors will get you a big fat fine! Fish Hook would be off my list as a Tenoroc Lk simply because you can't fish it right now without a Jon boat. The ramp is too far out of the water due to the drought and the ramp is closed. Lk A, Lk B, Lk 4, Lk 5... any of these lakes usually produce well and a 17 lb Bass was shocked out of Lk B some years back. They used to have a picture of a Game Warden holding the fish posted at Phillips Bait and Tackle out by Saddle Creek. Saddle Creek is also another good option. Any of these places are good Bass lakes, but even if you go to Stick Marsh... no one can guarantee that you will smoke the Bass! There are just too many variables to contend with on any given day ;)

Go to Stick Marsh it is an incredible fishery. I last fished there two years ago in an unbelievable front passed the night before, morning 35 degrees and warming to about 45 with winds out of the north at about 20 - 30 mph and we still caught 10 between the two of us. The day before it was pretty nice and we caught about 30 - 40 fish. If you are worried about tearing up your boat idle to the channels and only run in the channels. It takes a while to idle but you won't have to worry about tearing up your boat.

I would go to the Stick Marsh too simply because it is easier to catch fish.  A couple bags of dark senkos and swim senkos and a rod is all you need.  Just cast in/around/on top of the wood and you will catch some fish.  I spent 9 hrs fishing Tenoroc last Friday and only caught 2.  I caught a dozen the time I went to the Stick Marsh and was just bopping around not knowing what I was doing.

I wouldnt worry about tearing your boat up in the Stick Marsh.  It isnt as bad as it sounds.  Just dont go too fast, follow people out that know where they are going and just go slow.  When slow down before you start seeing wood.
