Bass are spawning in FL

I saw several bass beds with males on them when I was catching a gator this morning.  Any yall seeing any spawning activity?

Bucks have been coming in and then moving back out with each front. Most beds you will note are still silted in.

yeah i've been seeing them in the harris chain lately. some big female too.

I haven't been fishing in a while, but I speak with several bassaholics who live in my community (Lake Walk-In-Water).

They're seeing very little in the way of "active" beds and the fishing for them has been unusually slow even with live shiners.

I suspect that's about to change REAL soon.

I fished Lk Ariana, Tenoroc's Lk 2 and a small private pit last week and didn't see anything. I thought I'd see at least something starting to happen spawn wise. Maybe this week???

there was a 11/12 caught this past sat. in the n. fla. fishers of men out of palatka off a bed.my partner caught a 3/6 last week that had already spawned out.she had a big saggy belly.

I saw probably 50 beds on K sunday.  Mostly small bucks but I did get broke off by something that was bumping a pad.  I flipped a worm in on 12# big game, it did not hit the bottom and kept going.

Ok, I fished a little private pit today and I did see 1 buck starting a bed. I guess they just haven't really started where I've been fishing.

Saw some bass beds along some Canals in Palm Beach County area, didn't see any bass though, so they may be exotics, but I think we should start seeing activity very very soon.  Will be going up to Goodwin this Thursday and I will post my report on any activity I see.

They usually start spawing there a bit earlier than Stick/Farm.

Numbers and size growing daily - 50+ per day and fish to 10.5 pounds so far. Looking for that big sow.
