RyneB Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 good news is Progressive gave me full cost of motor, plus $200 for taxes and install and waived my deductible. So I'm very very very lucky. 4 1 Quote
RyneB Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Thinking about putting that money towards a new Ultrex. Anyone running an Ultrex? any feedback would be appreciated. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted November 3, 2018 Super User Posted November 3, 2018 Very nice!! If you go with Minn Kota, don't buy until after the first of the year. They normally run rebates from Jan-May, and the rebates are usually 1 pound of thrust =$1 back. So if you go with a 112lb thrust, you get $112 back.. I'm done for the year. Caught enough crappie last week to last until spring. Did the last bass trip today and caught the skunk. Unloaded gear from the boat when I got home and dropping it off at the shop tomorrow to get it winterized. Looking back, I caught 2 PB's this year. 6lb smallie and a 27" walleye. My dad caught his PB smallmouth as well, on the same trip, a 5+. Largemouth fishing was average at best. big fish was 4lbs in early spring. Caught more pike and walleye this year than years past, as byproducts of bass fishing. Spring can't get here soon enough. 2 Quote

Super User Scott F Posted December 16, 2018 Super User Posted December 16, 2018 Pretty much nobody gave them a chance to go from worst to first in the division. Especially when the “experts” were crowning the Vikings Super Bowl champs before anybody played a game. 2 Quote

FordsnFishin Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 I've serviced roughly 50 reels now. Cleaned rods. Spooled reels. Got a warm day last week and went through boat motor and serviced it and cleaned the inside out some. Aired tires, greased bearings. Just need to pick up two new trolling motor batteries before tournaments start. Im.... ready..... to.... start.... fishing! Quote

Super User slonezp Posted March 16, 2019 Super User Posted March 16, 2019 I just left cabelas. The state of IL, in their infinite wisdom has decided to upgrade the printers. Only problem is they aren't working. Cabelas said they got the new printers 3 weeks ago and haven't been able to sell a single fishing license. Quote
