What are you fishing for , bank or boat, plastics slow on the bottom have worked for me, Im in SW OH. Location wold help along with what your target fish/fishes.

Stained water, use the color plastic that closely resembles the stain. Try a variety of shapes, bouncing on the bottom, along the points, the bass are moving up to the shore here. hope this helps.

If it's that stained, I'd look for clear water. If you can find clear water with a little bit of current, even better. The bass should be moving up and hungry.

In my opinion i think with the water being pulled down a foot or 2 each day the fish instead of moving up to the shoreline on cover,,shouldnt they be movin out farther from the shore as long as the water is droppin? Then i should target what? POINTS,DROPS,OR CREEKS WITH MUDDY WATER?? thank you all though for your jesters they both sound good,,i just wish you could see this lake it is in a mess with all the high water.. I thought about tryin a shaky head off the points in about 20 ft of water.. :-/

For stained water I would certainly try larger baits and some things that will attract some attention.

Jerkbaits

Traps

larger cranks

Keel weighted Space Monkey

Jig & rage combo

Large Spinnerbait with at least one colorado blade

Look for staging areas with wind and clearer water or some current. The look for points, structure, cover etc. As long as its next to deeper water it should be ok. Slow, methodical and deliberate.

and remember have fun! :)
