unhbass37 Posted September 1, 2009 Author Posted September 1, 2009 Nashua Fisherman how did the motor work out? Did you have the jon boat pulling wheelies? I sent you a text also. I may hit the Merrimack tommorow around 3pm or 4pm if you want to go in the Tracker for a couple of hours. I just need to check the kids schedule. Quote
baboosicbass08 Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Nice fish unh, you always seem to get quality fish! Quote
unhbass37 Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 Thanks alot baboosicbass08. I really think the trick sticks/senkos have been killer this year along with alot patience. Quote
unhbass37 Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 Got out again tonight and caught 8 bass, Nothing much over 2lbs though. No pictures for those little guys... Quote
unhbass37 Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 Got out today twice. First Nashua Fisherman and I hit the Merrimack which was not good I only caught two smallmouth fishing was very slow. River fishing is hit or miss in my oppinon. Then I hit up Mill pond again and caught 6 LMB biggest was 3 lbs 7 oz. Here is a picture. Quote
Super User Shane J Posted September 5, 2009 Super User Posted September 5, 2009 Good to see you guys are still on 'em representin' the NH !! Just this morning at 5:00am, I broke my PB again, by catching a 7-10 on a little 4 acre secret hole someone shared with me. I put a post on "my tournament or outing". Rage Tail Shad (green pumpkin/chartreuse). This bait is killer, and it also landed me 15 other nice bass between 2 and 4 lbs. in 5 hours today. Keep it up, everyone, and good luck! http://i801.photobucket.com/albums/yy299/halla091804/fish/ShanePB5.jpg Quote
unhbass37 Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 Got out today with Nashua Fisherman at Canobie Lake and we did OK. I caught about 7 and he caught 2. He caught the biggest fish. A 1 lbs 7 oz Smallmouth. It was the first time there so I guess thats not bad at all. Here is a picture of his smallmouth. Quote
NHBassfishing Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 After reading about Mill Pond on here, my buddy and I went there last night from 6 till 9pm and caught nothing... I don't even recall a bite.. Oh well, next time.. Quote
unhbass37 Posted September 7, 2009 Author Posted September 7, 2009 Mill pond can be tough. I have fished it alot and know it very well. You need a fish finder to find the drops and look for the bait fish. Like I mentioned before in earlier posts it is very hard to fish now with the milfoil being very think, But they are there for sure. I will say this the bite is SLOW most everywhere you go. The low temps at night are not helping. Keep at it and good luck. Quote
NHBassfishing Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 I know what you mean about some slow bites.. We got skunked 2 nights in a row.. The night before last we fished Beaver Lake from 6 till 9 and nothing.. Tomorrow morning before I have to work, I'm going to shore fish Glen Lake.. Hopefully I pull a nice one out of there... Quote
unhbass37 Posted September 7, 2009 Author Posted September 7, 2009 Good Luck and let me know how Glen lake is. I was thinking of checking that lake out also. Quote
unhbass37 Posted September 7, 2009 Author Posted September 7, 2009 Got out today early AM temp was 45 degrees outside so I figured the bite would be really slow, But I was wrong. I did really well I ended up with 6 good size bass and 2 little fellas. Biggest fish was 4 lbs 13 oz. I also caught a nice 3 lbs 12 oz and a few two pounders. Good day on the water. Hope everyone else did well also. Here are some pictures. Quote
unhbass37 Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 Got out again around 9am this morning and caught 7 bass and one big yellow perch. Biggest bass was a nice 4 lbs 8 oz. Another great day on the water. Here is a picture. Quote
NHBassfishing Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Got out for about 2 hours today on Gumpas Pond and got skunked again.. I was in a kayak I borrowed, and I was getting blown around all over.. I could see the schools, but couldn't pull out anything.. I need to get some senkos though.. Theres 2 colors that have worked all year, but I currently don't have any of either color.. Quote
unhbass37 Posted September 10, 2009 Author Posted September 10, 2009 Today is not a good day to fish in a kayak. Wind will blow you all over the place. Barometric pressure is high now also 30.48 which can throw it off. Blk/Blue senkos is the only color I use and have killed on them this year. Quote
unhbass37 Posted September 14, 2009 Author Posted September 14, 2009 Got out tonight for a couple of hours and landed another beauty. 4 lbs 7 oz. Here is a picture. Quote
baboosicbass08 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Good job unh whered ya get that one Quote
unhbass37 Posted September 14, 2009 Author Posted September 14, 2009 Thanks. I went to mill pond. Fishing was very slow though and I only caught three in 3 hours. Did you get out at all this weekend? Quote
NHBassfishing Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Got out to Little Island pond in Pelham and we landed about 16 fish.. 2 pickerel, and the rest all bass.. The biggest was a 2lb Large mouth.. I didn't have my digital camera, but if my buddy gets me the pics I'll post them.. We are looking for a good place to hit a little further north tomorrow if anyone has a good suggestion.. Quote
unhbass37 Posted September 15, 2009 Author Posted September 15, 2009 If your going NORTH ask Jaystraw, Pain or Wagn. I pretty sure they can help. Jaystraw fishes alot for smallmouth up north, But I think you may need a boat. Good luck. Quote
NHBassfishing Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 We will be hitting Bow Lake.. Anyone have any decent spots they wouldn't mind sharing form this lake..? Thanks.. Quote
unhbass37 Posted September 16, 2009 Author Posted September 16, 2009 Not sure if you know this or not, But that lake is 1140 acres. I hope you have a gas powered boat or it will take along time to get around with just a trolling motor. I did here there are some trout in there. Post some pictures if you catch one. Have Fun. BTW is there any smallmouth at Little island pond in pelham? Is there a boat ramp or just carry in? Quote
spin king Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 We will be hitting Bow Lake.. Anyone have any decent spots they wouldn't mind sharing form this lake..?Thanks.. I have fished Bow Lake several times. The locals call it "Slow Bow" for a reason. It's a beautiful lake, but it's tough to fish. That being said, there are some real big smallmouth in there, and you would probably do best to fish deep with Jigs. Most of the action I've had has been on the Dam side in the channel. Quote

BTW is there any smallmouth at Little island pond in pelham? Is there a boat ramp or just carry in? We brought a canoe with a trolling motor .. We or rather my buddy caught 2 but only brought one to the boat.. I went back to catching nothing..lol Little Island is a private pond, with no public launch.. We have access so if you want to head out with us thats fine.. We are going there one last time before the season is up.. And the launch is more of a beach launch than anything.. Quote
