Thanks. Senkos and jigs with a craw trailer.

What color senko's are you having luck with. I am in need of buying more because I only have white left over  :)

Also what hooks are you using with your senko's ?

Any color will work, But I have been using black or black with blue and Gamakatsu Skip Gap Hooks. (PLEASE NOTE:) If the bass shallows the hook DO NOT remove it or you will kill the fish. Cut the line and the hook will rot. They normally inhale the senko so if your quick enough you will set the hook in the mouth area and save the hook.

If your looking for Senko type baits give * trick sticks a try. Great quality and sooo much cheaper then name brand. I say i fish "senkos" all the time but i really mean trick sticks. Caught my PB on them as well as hundreds of other fish in the last couple of years.

Ill have to try them out. Anywhere local carry these?

UNH- ya I have had a few that I have had to leave the hook in because they were way down in their throat. Hopefully they work them out and still live.

I don't know of anywhere local but you can order them from *.com. Brent, who runs the company, is a sponsor of bassresource and a great guy. He'll answer any questions you have if you message him. I believe Bassresource members get a discount as well.

Thanks wagn. I will give him some business as well.

What's goin on, South NH people! Anyone been fishing around the Concord area lately? Like Turkey, Turtletown, Hoit Rd Marsh, or even the Merrimack River? With the exception of the past week or so, I've been killin' em on Turtletown, and I'm hittin' Turkey on Friday and the river on Saturday. Anyway, hope everyone's crushin' em out there.

Have you tried ugly sticks? We use them and love them. There cheap, But work well.

I have an ugly stick and I love it.  It is cheap but has great sensitivity and is pretty strong.  Im thinking of picking up another one with a bit heavier action.  Right now I use a med/light because I love the feel of the fight.

Im beginning to think youre just recycling the same photo all the time with all these 4+ fish....

I may give the Mill Pond a shot this evening from shore.

Did you get over to Mill Pond yet?

Went out today for about 3 hours. Only managed 2 small bass under a pound, a lmb and a smb. Caught 3 pickerel and 1 creek chub. Went to powdermill again also. I think I'm struggling there because of the murky water. All the rain has really seemed to mess that place up.

Bass tard the murky water is tough I agree. You also told me that it is all shallow which makes it tougher. There has to to be a deeper spot somewhere out there in that pond. If you can find that spot I would fish it throughly. What are you using for bait? What I have been doing is throw all Senkos and Jigs and fish very slow. It is very boring I know, But the payoff is worth it if you catch a 4 or 5 pounder. Hope this helps.

I have yet to try an ugly stick. I always considered them cheapy's as well. That quantim torsion seems pretty nice, although the rhino rod thats also 20$ was junk, replacement with the st croix.

Works for me. We have caught a ton of fish on them. Someday I would like to try a better rod to see if there is a difference, But for now I'm happy, H** we still use mono for everything. LOL

I didnt.  The weather made it tough.  I wish summer would show up at some point.  This is getting ridiculous.  It seems like every time I want to go out we get apocalyptic rain, thunder, sleet, snow, or tornadoes.
