unhbass37 Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 Got out today for a 1 1/2 and caught 3 nice bass. All well over one pound. Biggest was 2 lbs 15oz. Here is a picture. Loving the jigs and senkos ;D Quote
catchbig0bass Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 UNHbass37 where did you go? just seeing if its anywhere in Hudson? Quote
unhbass37 Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 Went to the Mill, But they were out deep (10-14 feet of water). There is so much milfoil there now it making it tougher to fish. My prop. on the trolling motor was caked with it just tring to get back in. Quote
rippin_lips Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Got out Monday, Tuesday and today. Caught 10 at Massabesic on monday, 11 at Massasecum on tuesday and 8 today at Massabesic today. No giants but a bunch over 2 pounds and some around 3. Overall pretty good fishing still. Headed up north again this weekend. Quote
unhbass37 Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 Greens Pond is off limits boys. I took a ride up to check it out. There are NO TRESPASSING signs everywhere. It's to bad as it looks like a nice place to fish. Tons of lily pads. Nashua Fisherman you would love it. Quote
unhbass37 Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 Ripping where are the pictures? Nothing wrong with a 2 pounders either thats a good fish in my book. Quote
wagn Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 That's too bad about Green's pond. I was hoping to head out there sometime when I get a break at work. Quote
catchbig0bass Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Last night I tried to head over to the pennichuck water works area to get in. A tip from someone at work said its unbelievable fishing however when going down manchester rd where the water flows on both sides its all fenced in with no tresspassing signs everywhere. > Quote
unhbass37 Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 Ya I know the signs are everwhere and well marked. I myself am not taking a chance. There are pleny of other places to fish. Quote
catchbig0bass Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 any advice on where is a good place for shore fishing? trying to find new spots that will be decent. Quote
nashua fisherman Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 you can fish penechuck on both sides of tinker road. weve been there a couple times and theres always other people there. no one seems to mind and there arent any no tresspassing signs there. Quote
unhbass37 Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 I went to the greens pond road street. There are signs there. Glad it's ok to fish on the tinker rd side. Quote
catchbig0bass Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 How is the fishing there? Tinker rd that is. Also anyway of getting into mill pond to shore fish. We went twords the dam side by the N river but it was junk. I want to be able to get into more of the middle edges somewhere. Quote
nashua fisherman Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 weve only been to tinker rd a couple times. we never caught anything, but never gave it a good try either. we are spoiled from having the boat. there is a trail around mill pond. this pond has the most shore access ive ever seen. me and the wife went to our spot tonight and she kicked my a**. i caught a sunfish and had a big pickeral come off at the boat. she caught 4 bass and had a couple come off at the boat. one of her bass was 3-12 and the second biggest was 2-12. unhbass37 Posted June 13, 2009 Author Posted June 13, 2009 Nice fish. I went to the river tonight for a 1hrs as It was getting to dark , But still caught a couple. Here is the biggest 5lbs 1oz ;D. I caught it on 8lbs test line (my sons rod) I was praying the line did not break. I loosen the drag and let him run a bit till he got tired LOL. Not bad for only a short time out there. Quote
nashua fisherman Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 only real luck i had this weekend was not getting bit by this angry beast. krikey, these things are ornery!! me and the wife went to "quarry pond" in londodnderry today. we threw spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and t-rigged worms with no luck. we ended up throwing on some nightcrawlers my neibor gave us and caught a couple sunfish before it started to pour. unhbass37 Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 Got out today and caught 10 bass (little guys, biggest was at a whopping 1 lbs) and 2 pickerel >. I could not catch and hawgs, Not sure where they all are hiding. Anyone else catch any? Quote
unhbass37 Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 Went out today around 11:30 and caught 4 more bass. Biggest was 3lbs 3oz. Nice hawg took me right into the weeds. Very strong 3 pounder for sure. Fun day all and all. ;D Here is a picture. Quote
catchbig0bass Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Heck I think I am in a slump. Went out yesterday walking around mill pond fishing the shore. Caught 1 under a pound. then went to robinson pond night fishing from about 9 -1:30 in the AM and caught nothing trolling on a friends boat, however he caught 4 - 2, sunnies and 2 small bass on a jitterbug. I dont know what it is but ive been in this slump for about a week now. Quote
nashua fisherman Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 we went to beaver pond in hollis this afternoon and fished the shoreline for about an hour without any luck. yesterday i snuck out to Brox sand and gravel in hudson and got skunked. we are trying to find new water. if the rain lets up long enough friday we are going to try stevens pond in manchester. we check out the launch last week and its long and shallow. anyways, fyi, the boat launch at otternic pond in hudson is closed because they are treating it for exotic plants(fanwort&millfoil) Quote
unhbass37 Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 You got to try to out think the bass. They have already seen so many lures. Try a differnt lure or change you presentation. You will get'em. Quote
nashua fisherman Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 me and the wife were looking at google maps last week and we found a body of water in nashua that looked shore accessable, so me, the wife and my son took a small road trip tonight to check it out and my wife caught two bass right away on a spinnerbait. i ended up catching six on a rapala floating minnow, wich is the most bass ive ever caught in a day. my son had the biggest fish of the night come off at the shore. everything we landed was under a pound, but it was real fun catching six fish in 45 minutes, especialy from the shore. this is our new secret spot. this has brought my confidence back up. catchbig0bass, i didnt catch any bass last weekend and my wife caught a 2-3/4 and a 3-3/4#'er. my rythem was off and i could barely cast without scaring the fish and my wife practicly had them jumping in the boat. things will get better.
