Yep...That's the beauty of fishing there. You never know what you're gonna get. Pike, walleye, state record carp :-? haha.

That and of course there are biig bass.

Yeah, that's what I figured. d**n. Oh well. What about Hubbard Pond in Rindge? Anyone fish that? Shows warm water fish on the topo.

hubbards good. some decent fish and tons of weeds. water level might be low now but you would have to check that out. Almost all the places in the rindge area are decent ponds and lakes some are just heavily fished. good luck.

Most of the ponds in Jaffrey/Rindge are good fishing and Hubbard is no exception. Some are even better than good, you just have to find which ones!

Man! they have Flint's in Hollis all chewed up, they are cleaning all the millfoil up and have both ramps all dug up from the excavators.

i know it was dug up in good shape when i tried last week. 

i should be able to drag it in correct ?

Ya you could drag it in over the mud but a second set of hands would make it a LOT easier! there are a lot of mud piles created by the machines they are using to dredge the pond.

Think I'm gonna do a little kayak fishing at Lovewell tomorrow(Sunday) early morning, anybody interested? I was there yesterday and it looks like somebody made a little platform out of skids and there is an opening to get through the moat.

I don't have a cart made yet so I'll have to carry mine in  but if somebody else goes we can help each other out

I know Nashua Fisherman fishes there from time to time. I personally have not, But did a walk by. It does surprises me that there are no BASS in there. Good luck boys.

Hit Lake Massabesic today for about 4 hours and only caught two dinks (SM). Lake is low as well. Very shallow. Lauch is a pain to get the boat in and out as it is so low and you can't step in the water >. Been really tough fishing for me this year. Still have yet to get a 5 pounder. Last year I had many 5+ pound bass and a PB 6lbs 12oz. Anyone else struggling?  :-/

i am going with a buddy somewhere in londonderry tomorrow ,  i dont know where it is or the name yet

but i will in the morning when i meet him and he takes me there

I just loaded up my kayak and I will be at Lovewell around 5:30-6am

I'm gonna park right on 111a near the jersey barriers that bock that road.My kayak only weighs 40lbs. so I'll carry mine in(about 100 yards at most). You will see some wooden long skids along the shoreline.

I'll chime in and post how it goes.

3 over 6 for me last year, but this year I only have one over 5! Could be because I'm always fishing tournaments but I don't think so. Something's a little off for more than just us this year.

Got out to Lovewell and caught about 20 crappy in 3 hours, lost at least that many.

At one point they were being caught on every cast LOL.All of them were under 1 1/2 lb. but those things were whacking hard at anything I threw at them, watching them jump out of the water for the popper was a riot!

caught 10 smallies yeterday at this little pond my buddy too me to.

not sure i can find it again , off of wiley hill in londonderry , threw the woods for a 10 minute walk and boom. there it is

biggest one was only a little over a pound , but we were only there for a little over an hour.

I think i will try lovewell on wed morning a little before 6

Kevin ,how was the drag to get the kayak to the water ?  Did you get or muddy to get to the water?
