Looking for someone to fish with occasionally on weekends near my area (ABE). I don't have a boat, and you don't need to own one either, but would share expenses if you do. Probably better if you don't, then you wouldn't think I was just looking for a boat to fish out of. Weeknights would be tougher given the time of year.

Married but wife isn't jealous type (far as I know, but have only been married 34 years so what do I know?). ;D Figured I'd throw that out in case there is a lady fisher person also looking for fishing company. I'm ugly enough that a husband would only laugh at the idea of being jealous. :'(

At my age company is a welcome part of fishing. My wife doesn't care to fish or want to hear me talking about it. I'd fish with a relative, but the nearest is almost 200 miles away in another state. Or I could fly to Florida every weekend to fish with my brother-in-law. Don't I just wish!

Well, I do have a daughter who likes to fish, but she isn't available very often.

Thanks.

Almost forgot. Don't care what we fish for as long as it swims. (Well, I'm not fond of catching eels.) Ugh. Largemouth, Smallmouth, Bluegills, Crappies, Bullheads, Catfish or even Carp. Heck...I'd even lower my standards to fish for trout! Just kidding. ;) ;)

Easton.  Actually between Easton and Bethlehem.  Very close to the NJ border.  Where are you?  Central PA is close to a 2 hour drive.  Not exactly like running down to the corner!   ;D

Use to make the trek to Potter County quite often when my in-laws were living in Galeton.  I'd love to live out that way if there were any decent paying jobs.

About a half hour south of State College. Beth. is about 2 to 2 1/2 hours away. We can meet up sometime, we will probably have another Pa meet up soon too.

Mike, you had mentioned Milford once, but I hadn't looked up its location yet.  Just did.  You are twice as far away as I had thought.  You had also mention Water Gap, so I assumed you were near Delaware Water Gap which isn't too far north.  I see there is a Delaware Water Gap Nat'l Rec. Area just south of Milford.  Guess you meant that one?

I'm going to try and get out at least once this weekend.  Want to try some of the new flies I got for my bass flyrod if it isn't too windy.  A rod, BTW, which has never been used on the water yet.  It's about 15 years old.  Out of puberty now, so ready for action.  LOL.

I could make a trip up there.  I figure you are normally pretty busy, so make it at your convenience.

Hidden Lake is a very appropriate name.  Couldn't find it on my old Atlas map.  Had to Google it.  It shortens my drive, but makes yours longer.  We almost always fished lakes growing up.  Probably never fished moving water more than a couple times before this year.

thanks,

Dale
