boydn1 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Anybody out there fish Lou Yeager, Glen Shoals or Lake Springfield? Thanks Quote
wmiketo Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Too far north to call So IL (aka Gods country) I fish Crab Orchard, DK, Little Grassy, Cedar and Kincaid primarily. Quote
Nibbles Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 And I'm smack dab in the middle ;D I'm about an hour away from Clinton and 80 mins from Shelbyville. I also hit up Evergreen Lake from time to time, as well as Walnut Point State Park, which has a little lake that holds plenty of bass. Quote
justbass2u Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I fish lake springfield sometimes. only because it's close.. I live in Chatham. would rather fish some of the other power plant lakes.. Quote
boydn1 Posted November 18, 2010 Author Posted November 18, 2010 Too many ponies for the powerplants. Will prob try to hit Kincaid a couple of time next year. Pretty long drag but, I hear it's worth it. Quote
bwell Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Hey Nibbles where in Walnut Point are you talking about? Is there a smaller separate pond from the main lake? I have fished a tourney at Springfield and did alright... If you want a smaller lake that has a HP restriction try Lake Sangchris in Springfield... I think it has a 20hp restriction... Quote

There's a channel that runs through the lake into the dam near the boat rental place - tons of bass along that channel hiding in the vegetation. There's a nice deep point along there too that I caught one fish on. Quote
Needemp Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I fish Baldwin and Cofeen in the winter. I heard that Lou Yaeger wasn't worth it. Quote
