Do you think it will affect the overall water temp much from two hot days with that being such a big body of water?

I hope not. It might push some of the shallow fish out, but I was planning on fishing deep anyway :) We'll see though, I hope it doesn't kill the topwater bite!

Yeah you go have fun at your silly tournament, us REAL anglers will get the fishing done :)

We plan on leaving approximately 4:30 w/ arrival around 6.

That should leave just enough time to get the stuff hooked up, rods into the boat and be fishing by sun up.

I'll be there around 6/6:30. I have only an hour drive and I think I can handle a 4:30 wake to leave at 5 haha! Again, REMEMBER YOUR $3 EVERYONE WITH A BOAT!

Hey everyone....Im stuck at work til noon....can't attend this go round.....Cant wait to see some pictures and hear the reports.  Sorry everyone.  I knew there would be a call off.....I shouldn't have planned anything....then people would have showed up for work and I could be there!!   Good luck everyone....Was there Wednesday and the surface temp was 71-73.  Trolling motor fish finder said about the same.  Be sure to post pictures.....count me in for all (5) meetings next year!!  HAHA

Hope you guys had a good time, sure wish I could have made this. The guy that was planning on going with me, had some family issues and I didnt feel like making the trip alone.
