Zeeebassman 1 Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 Any member in the Erie Pa. area, that fish Presque Isle area? Quote
jenga Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 I have twice. Both times have sucked. I went on May 20th - 22nd and didn't do so great. I caught fish in the bay but not any of size. I tried the lake but couldnt get any thing to bite. If I were to fish the bay again I wouldn't target smallies i would go after largies. Jenga Quote
NateFollmer Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 I caught fish in the bay but not any of size. How is that possible in Erie? There's two types of Smallies in Erie, Eggs and Monsters. Smallie's eggs in Erie are the size of chicken eggs and as soon as the fish emerge from the eggs they are 20 inches long.... Ok so I'm lying, but I still don't think it's possible to catch a small fish in Erie Quote

The main lake areas tend to hold the big girls. Quote
