cootertom Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 If not in the right section feel free to move. Received a phone call today from them. They are going to raise the price from $15 a year to $25. They are offering all the subscribers a three year deal at $15 per year. They are saying if you let it expire then it will be $25 per year and when the three years expire it will be $25. >:(Let them know I was not happy but did the three year deal. Quote
Super User Jeff H Posted March 10, 2008 Super User Posted March 10, 2008 Geez....are they trying their best to run BASS into the ground or what? Quote
smallieking Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 i just renewed mine for 25 bucks for 2 years Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted March 10, 2008 Super User Posted March 10, 2008 They are trying to make up for those of us who don't get their crappy magazine anymore. Quote
Korea_Bassin Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Don't order direct from Bassmaster. Order from here instead: http://www.magazinepricesearch.com/detail/bassmaster.html?terms=bassmaster 22 issues = $5 33 issues = $9.34 I've ordered several different magazines from that site and never had a problem. Korea_Bassin Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Bassin is the way to go IMO. I get that one too. 3 years (21 issues) of Bassin on the same website above goes for only $14.65. Quote
EdKras Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I let my subscription lapse a couple of years ago when they changed the format. It's been a long time since I've learned anything from Bassmaster. The only magazine that I subscribe to anymore is Basswest USA (I live in Connecticut). If there is an article in Bassmaster about a new technique, then is was probably in Basswest at least a year before. Quote
