i couldnt wait to get the raider so i went out and bought a 10' grumman jon. all the seams are welded. the guy painted it over the weekend and gave me the leftover paint. theres no cracks or repairs anywhere. the transom is real solid. i need to buy new seat brackets to mount my seats still and i treated myself to a new set of straps. paid $200. got the same for mine and this ones in way better shape.

Awesome. Getting an all-welded boat is key.

There's something about small boats in OD green that I just love.

I think I've got a short pedestal laying around somewhere which you can use if you want to raise your seats up a little bit.

It looks like this one- http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=netcon&id=0013302016082a&navCount=1&podId=0013302&parentId=cat21336&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=IK&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat21336&hasJS=true

If I can find it and you want it let me know.

Nice boat, man. That thing is like new. I have the exact same thing, and I love it.

Do you use a trolling motor with it?

I've seen some people who make a platform in the front using the middle seat and the front seat with wood planks screwed down to them.

Boat looks in great condition, and for $200 it's a hell of a deal.

thanks again guys. probably wont try a pedastal till the waters warmer. first priority after gettint the seats mounted is finding a used foot controled trolling motor.

thanks. took it out today for a couple hours to flints pond in hollis with the wife. its a little less stable than my 12 footer but i think its because the seats are a little higher and the bottom is a little narrower.

anyways, we caught 4 pickeral on spinnerbaits. didnt seem to be any pattern. fish were deep and shallow. bite was slow. water was 47*.

Nice boat. Always good to have a nice car topper you can fish so much more water out of that than you can with a trailer-able boat. Hope you have some great times in it. Tight lines.
