I plan on heading out on St Clair during a weekday next week and am looking for someone that knows the lake. We can meet at the Selfidge launch, Harley Ensign, or Metro. I will not accept any money for fuel or anything like that. I am just looking for someone that has some experience out there. Let me know. Thanks! -Jim

You had me at "I will not accept money"

Seriously,  I will be on vacation next week but may be up north.  In the spring I took a great guide out and he gave me some great spots.  All were between 9mile and 15 mile roads.  Pm me and I will see if I cant get you some waypoints for some weed beds.

I am certainly no guide but it may help.

I have fished it before in July but am no means an expert. I found my best success launching out of Metro and working the Miles Road area. Stay in 12 foot of Water. Wiggle Warts caught LM, SM, Walleye and a few surprise Musky. Bring a net we did not.A 48 inch Musky is not fun landing by hand. You will have a blast.

My friend on here ( MichBass ) has spent alot of time on St. Clair and he likes to fish during the week. I cant promise anything but drop him and IM or email. We fish all the time togather and he is a great guy to go fishing with. As I am typing he is texting me with how good he is doning. LOL. I will also give him a heads up about your post.
