wagn Posted July 11, 2009 Author Posted July 11, 2009 7am is the tourney start time. I'm hoping we can get everyone on the water start on time. Quote
jaystraw Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 sounds good. We'll be there around 6:30-6:45am the latest. Quote
nashua fisherman Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 we picked up some paper plates, plastic utensils(?), a roll of paper towels, and some rootbeer at waly world today. Quote
nashua fisherman Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 also, we checked out the river for a couple of hours(our first time there). water is real low according to locals. wife managed a pickeral and i caught this bass. Quote
wagn Posted July 11, 2009 Author Posted July 11, 2009 IMPORTANT UPDATE. I have to CANCEL the tournament. Just checked with my father who lives on the river and the water is extremely low. The cove he lives on is completely dried out. The water has continued to drop all day and is at this point too low to even launch a boat on. :'( I apologize to everyone for having to cancel on such short notice. I've called everyone that I have numbers for. We will be postponing to a later date when I'm sure that they have fixed the dam. If anyone has any questions. PM me. Quote

wagn Posted July 11, 2009 Author Posted July 11, 2009 this definetly sucks!!! we were there today and didnt have any problems. Apparently it is just continuing to drop and will do so until they fix the boards on the dam. It's theoretically possible that something could change overnight but I don't want to get everyone down there so early and find out we can't even get in the water. Sorry again for this being such short notice. I didn't know that there was still a problem till my father called me today. Like I said I hope to reschedule this sometime soon once things have stablized down there. Right now I have a bunch of hamburger and hotdog rolls with no home. Good luck to everyone tomorrow if you do go fishing. Quote
