RobbyZ5001 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Just checking to see how the fishing has been and what stage the SM and LM are in . Quote
Oldbassangler Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 I'm heading up on Friday through Tuesday. Will split my time at Wallenpaupak, Fairview and the Delaware river. Quote
Zel Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Welcome Oldbassangler. You the same guy who was had questions about Fairview last year over at EPFR? How has Fairview been treating you? Oh yeah Robby, nobody I've talked to has any info for me about the Pac, and I've asked several guys. They seem to all be concentrating their efforts in NJ. Quote

Hi Zel, yep that's me. Went to Fairview twice last year and did pretty good. Actuall saved my bacon when I got skunked in bad wather on Wallenpaupak. This weekend is my first time up this year. Quote
Zel Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Oldbassagnler, last time I went to Fairview (Jul 2008), I had great luck with a weightless Green Pumpkin GYCB Fat Ika (rigged backwards). Caught over a dozen (both SM and LM), almost all in the 3 to 5 lb range, with it. Also picked up a few nice ones in the 15ft - 25ft range off that rocky point (on the dropoff and structure had be showing on the bottom on the Fish Finder) with a Kastmaster jigging spoon. Quote
Oldbassangler Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Fished Lake Wallenpaupak on Saturday morning from about 6:30 to 11:30 water temps were 63 to 65 degrees. I saw no bass on the beds so I'm thinking there are getting ready. My girls and I got over 2 dozen bass the largest was 2.4 lbs and a 28 inch, 4.5 lb pickerel. Went to Milford in the afternoon and fished the Delaware for about 2 hours and caught 12 smallmouth and 2 walleye. Sunday to Fairview and gave up after 1 hit on a Rapala in 2 hours. Quote
