Booyah's good quality and they preform

Could we expand this topic?

We all have our favorites, but what makes them your favorite? Outside of results. What feature do you look for? What feature do you think makes your favorite spinnerbait a fish magnet?

Here's my thoughts on why I like an Accent :

1. Extra sharp hook

2. Lightwire :o

3. Round rubber skirt (awesome fluttering action)

4. Fluted blades

5. I can get any blade combo and almost any size from 1/4-1 oz.

Now, Accent spinnerbaits aren't very tough. It's the price I pay for the results I get. Most of them are only good for one day of fishing (pending on the activity), which would turn alot of people off.

For me, the Terminator T-1's:

The most consistent true running spinnerbait i've fished.

Because of their snapback frame, they rarely need tuning.

A lot of the waters here in Michigan that i fish for bass in are also heavily populated with Bowfin(dogfish) and Pike. It only takes hooking one of these fish to reshape many spinnerbaits. With T-1's this is rarely an issue.

Their skirt system speaks for itself. Their chartruse/white combination skirt is deadly.

I'm a big fan of their blades, particularly their willow blades. They're lightweight and give off a great flash. And most of the spinnerbait fishing that i do involves using a double willow.

Their 3/8 oz double willow(my go-to-bait) also tends to land very softly in the water. When fishing very shallow water structure, as i often do, this is a feature that i look for.

That pretty much sums it up for the T-1's.

Ya I saw the t-2 special ill probably see you there ill be the guy with 20+ of them. I like terminaters ive tried others with sucess but the terminater custom is amazing I love them the t-1's are nice too and the S.S. are an amazing value.

Really?  I've had two of those break on me on the first trip.

My vote has to go for Revenge Deep Runners with the War Eagle Screaming Eagle a close second.

To expand on your what and why for spinnerbaits, I will start by saying I have many different brands..  But the brands you will find the most are going to be the nichols and the war eagles.

why? let me explain

As CJ stated beeing a Michigan fisherman we do encounter lots of bowfin, pike, and depending where you fish musky as well.  If youve never encountered one before let me tell you they are not nice to tackle.

While the nichols may not be as durable as the T-1, alot of their baits have a key feature that I look for and that is flash.  Their hologram, and now Shattered glass style put alot of it out in the water.  While this isnt always important to bass, I believe it to be essential for PIKE which I have come to enjoy angling as well.  There are a number of combonation tourneys for Bass and Pike, as well as just Pike tourneys.

War eagles are well built and one of the main features I like is that the skirts are built right in with the metal so you dont have to worry about that rubber deteriorating and such.

However at roughly 2 dollars a pop on the 15th ill be swooping up those terminators believe me.  Maybe some of the michigan guys should meet for coffee in front of BP before they open  ;D

I love terminators, both the super stainless and the T-1s.  Like others said I can't wait until the T-2's go on sale at BPS. I'll probably end up buying a couple dozen. :o  I also have been really impressed with the Strike King KVD spinnerbaits.

Basspro48 says to use War Eagle.

So I am going to throw War Eagles on Buggs Island on Sunday.

I hope Basspro48 is right.

the bass like small offerings where i fish, so the only spinner i have success on is the Booyah Pond Magic in firetiger color, reeling in very slow.

The spinnerbaits I have had the most success with have been the BooYah Blades in 3/8. However, the frame on these do tend to bend easily. I have tried the Strike King Premier Plus baits and they are some nice baits so far. My only problem with those are they come with oversized blades for my liking. I've been meaning to try Terminators. Just never seem to top my list and I always seem to run out of money on other things first  :-/

I make my own because I am not satisfied with any baits on the market.

My dad had a friend back in the day that made him a whole slew of white spinnerbaits. I only have about 3 or 4 of them left now but they are the best i've ever used. Smaller then usual with one huge colorado blade that puts out so much vibration that i can feel that blade vibrating the second it hits the water.

Sadly once i run out i'm out for good. :'(

I like the pepper hawg. It's built here in my hometown of Grand Junction, Colorado. Very durable skirts and extra shiny blades, built with a premium gamakatsu hook.
