I could pick up some burgers and dogs.. and cook them??

Or would everyone rather go to a sit down?? There is Millbury about 10-15 min up 146??

Other then that there is a pizza/sub joint in downtown Douglas but I dont' think there would be room for parking...

I'll pick up burgers/dogs/buns tonight.. if someone wants to bring condiments/chips that would be fine..

I can either bring the grill to the ramp and cook there or we can meet at the house i'm staying at and cook/eat there..

Bringing the grill down sounds like a good idea, not sure if the park would have a problem with us cooking in the parking lot.We could always move to the beach/picnic area.I'll go get some condiments and some paper plates tonight. If anybody else wants to grab chips and doritos please do.I think it will be dry by the time we launch may have a shower between 7-8 pm.

Paul brought up a good point to me just now on the phone, it might be necessary to get a permit to BBQ at the ramp because it's in a state park, and I think you might need a permit for any open flame (ie. propane grill...). Just a word of caution, but we can always just go for it and see what happens! ;D

That works for me...What time does everyone want to meet up.?

I know they'll have an issue cooking at the ramp, but as Kevin stated there's a pinic area 100' from the ramp which would probably OK to cook at. Not sure on this one, but it is a state forest and there's normally designated areas for BBQing. Not trying to be a buzz kill here, yet I also don't want the 1st permit I pull to be the last. What can I bring to the feast?

It's dark by 8PM the boat will be in the water by 7:15.

I talked to Paul this mourning and we figured 6:00 pm would be a good time to meet.I'ts getting dark earlier and if we wait too long we'll be eating in the dark.Hope to see everyone tonight...Any questions about tonight feel free to call me..(508)944-9395.

Cooking is allowed at the picnic area next to the ramp. No parking fee after 5PM. Ranger said there has hardly been anyone on the lake all day! :D

See ya there!

I had technical Difficulties with my boat (dead main batt.) didn't prevent me from fishing but I ended up leaving at 1am.. I heard that someone had 5 fish but everyone else was struggling.. I didn't get any and my partner Dallas lost a 2-3 lb smallie at the boat..

I'm assuming most are still sleeping as they prob got home after 5am..

Sorry I haven't replied sooner. The girls wouldn't let me leave and I just got home. :P Heading out to Stafford in 30 minutes so I gotta keep this short.

Thanks to everyone who particapated! That comet we saw was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Though it did expose a bit more of  the girls then expected ;D

Maybe at the next one we should actually fish and not let the girls distract us :D
