Never been there and my wife wants to go fishing any suggestion on a good spot for smallie and where to put my boat in at and what lures to use .

You will not find smallies in the bay now. They inhabit the bay from April to about early July (at the latest) while spawning. You will have to venture out to main lake for smallies now. The bay has plenty of largies to keep you busy.......
