dgquail Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 Anyone know of a reputable smallmouth guide for the Western basin area of Lake Erie? Also, what are the "prime times" for smallmout on Erie? Thanks Quote
jhoffman Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 Erie smallmouth are pretty easy in the spring. Most guides specialize in walleye and salmon/steelhead on their boats. In the spring you can catch them at Presque Isle in the bay. Also, right now they are still running into elk creek. Guys are tearing fish up. Post your quesiton at this forum: http://forums.fishusa.com Most guys are from Erie and the ones who aren't all fish it. Quote
