I really appreciate your offer to help this weekend, and we are complete strangers,....it's a RI thing Seriously, if you ever need another boat, just holler and it's yours. Good luck at Stafford guys Quote
Super User Tin Posted May 26, 2008 Super User Posted May 26, 2008 Ya, you can launch it but that is one nasty lake for rocks, pay attention to what is in front of you. DEM is always there too, so make sure you have everything you need in that boat with you. Quote
StatosDadRI Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 At our last Federation meeting we were told that a meeting and annoucement will take place that will allow PERMITTED Tournaments on Stafford and Echo that we could use our big gas motors. Quote
=Matt 5.0= Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 I heard that place is terrible for fishing..... : Quote

masssilversrt4 Posted May 27, 2008 Author Posted May 27, 2008 I did not end up going.. Way to windy ended up going out to Wareham for the day with some friends down near the water. Was nice just a bit blustery... I did get out on Watuppa again on SAT.. Needed to test the rewired trolling motor. Works like a charm now. There was a tourney there and some guys that were pulling out said it was really slow. My cousin managed a 2lber and a big azz pickrel.. me I got skunked again.. My Little cousin was ecstatic first time on the boat and first time catching more then just a sunfish.. Quote

Good luck at Stafford guys Thanks for the offer Russ. I have 2 other boats 15' V and 12' Jon The jon is not registered and I need to get a bigger trolling motor for the 15' I only have a 24lb thrust and if it is windy it doesn't do much.. Just gotta decide where we are going this week for the after work trip on Thursday/Friday.. (Johnsons??) I may try to hit up Quinsigamond/Webster or Singletary this weekend as I'll be up at my buddies for a christening. Quote
HOIST-N-HAWGS Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 I did not end up going.. Way to windy! Is that why I was the only boat left after 11AM ;D You made a great choice the wind was switching directions all day seemed to follow us everytime we moved to another spot. My buddy Brandon did get a 5 even and one around 3lbs,most of the fish were barely keepers. Quote

There must of been 2-3' white caps.. that would of been fun fishing.. Quote
