In your opinion, are lucky craft's worth there price?

I agree!!!!!!!   Its hard to pay $15 to $20 to try a new color or type of bait.

Nope. There are plenty of great crankbaits out there for less than 8 bucks that work just as **** if not better.

I have a couple of Sammy's and a few pointers, but I have 5X more Rapala DTs & floaters.

They are beautiful baits, but definitely pricey. The few I have, were a good deal on ebay.

I will be different.  Yes, the are worth the money.  At least the Sammy's and the Pointers are in my opinion.

I'll add that $15 is a lot of money for a lure, but not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things.  I've gone out and spent $40 or $60 at the bar on coctails with nothing to show for it the next day.  My point?  Just plunk down the $15 for a Pointer 78 and see for yourself.  If you don't like it, you can at least get $10 or $12 for it if you sell it.

Yes, a couple of years ago I said there was no way I would spend that much on a bait? Now they seem cheap compared to Megabass.

Here is my experience.  Pointers, Staysee, G-Splash, Bevy Shad, No

Sammy, Splash Tail, CB 20, Flash Minnow, Worth every penny.

I have a few Lucky Craft Lures and they are expensive for what they do but IMHO they are worth it.  I have a favorite that I fish almost every time I'm out.  It is the a flat mini MR Chartruese crank.  I have never not caught a fish when I use it and I have not lost it.   But on the other hand my other favorite is a silver DT-4 Rapala. Which for some reason, I have replaced 5 times this year do to snags.  So if you do the math 5 x $5= $25 for the Rapalas and a one time and still going $15 for the LC.  This does not mean if you go by my local lake you won't find a LC stuck in a tree or in underwater stump.  It has just been, on average, for a few years that I loose more Rapalas than the LC's and I tend to fish LC's more than Rapalas.

I have a mixed idea on them, I love um but dont think they are for everyone. If you fish hard and take tackle seriously then they would suit you, but dont think they will catch for you. Become better with cheaper versions before you buy alot of these, that was my mistake. There are alot of baits out here including, Excailber, Rapala, Mann's, Strike King and Bomber that make great baits. I have found my Rick Clunn's, Sammies, BDS's and Pointer's to be very good, and in IMO worth the money. The Natural makes a good point, if you are gonna spend the money on something like a 24 pack or food, then why not use it to buy something useful? Over the past few years I have fished just about every Deeep Diver, and found that the DT's are the best, so theres a bait for under 7 bucks that can outfish a LC. I believe LC has put some serious time into their products, look at their pro-staff, they would help any lure company out with ideas they want to see in lures. LC's are tuned and come with some of the best hardware found on any lure, and I have yet to buy one that has run wild out of the box. My point is stick with what you like but dont overlook the fact that the bait doesn't make the fisherman.  8-)

What I do is only buy 1 lucky craft and a pack of plastics and it comes to $20.00.  One time I grabed about 10 lucky crafts and on the way to the cash register I thought about the $200.00 it was going cost and about had heart attack.  

WORTH THE PRICE!!!!!!!!

BAIT MONKEY WARNING: If you buy a LC Pointer78, you will buy another before long.   Not convinced they are better? Buy one- just one- pointer 78. If the water you fish is lightly stained, buy chartreuse shad. If it is clear, buy either aurora black or MS american shad. FISH IT!!! You will own another before long. They are that good.

90% of their lineup is worth the money, IMHO.

They have some baits that no one else has that I will not hit the water without.

I have seen some lures that go for anywhere from $60-$80 a piece!!!!! Imagine throwing something like that and hanging it up somewhere!! Can anyone say scuba gear? I myself don't have any, but everyone has some pretty good things to say about them. How much do you spend on beer or tobacco? If I were to buy one it would surely be something that would least likely to get caught on something in the water because I'm cheap!

I'm cheap, but when I try something and it works, I will gladly spend the money to catch more fish. I wouldn't feel right if somebody else fishing aa tourny won on a lure I was too cheap to buy. Even if I wasn't into the tourny scene, I would still want every fish I could catch to hit every time I went, and once again, I'd rather spend 15, 20, or even 60$ on a lure than get skunked, only to find out some other guy got his thumbs tattered on a lure I thought about the other week and turned down because I didn't want to spend the money. And it has happened to me before.

I have only used a few of them becuse i could not afford to try to many so i have to be real selective. But i have used the sammy,  pointer and flash minnow and i think they are worth the money.

They're quality baits for sure, and I've caught lots of fish on them. It's unfortunate that the price is so high, but if that's how it has to be, I'll just have to keep paying the high price. I love these baits!

The price of something is an objective fact.  It costs what it costs.

The "value" of something is a subjective opinion.  One person may think it's a bargain while another thinks it overpriced.

The "is it worth it" question is subjective.  If you like it, it's worth it.  If you don't, it ain't.
