Hey little hawg dude ;D Been to pond X w/Dad yet? You may want to consider it w/the Slammer. LM just starting to move up :) Saw a 6+ cruising in 6" of H2O in cove on left after island :o I'll be there Saturday early AM.

I will try to get there saturday. Trying to fix the crawdad, if not i might be there with someone else's boat.

The only reason I asked if he released that fish is because that is an old fish it takes a long time for a fish to reach that size. If you get its proper measurements you can get a nice fiberglass replica made there is no reason to keep that fish. Thats why everyone should practice catch and release that is just what I think. Anyways congrats on catching the hog

No explanation needed, i agree completely. I was more than happy to see that fish swim away and kick hard out of my hands! I will be ordering the replica soon  ;D

Nice Fish! Where exactly was this?(lake,pond, etc.)I'm in Northbridge and am looking for some new spots to fish.

I work 5 minutes from Mansfield ... ( starts Google mapping area )  :o

That is a rare fish. And you targeted it. Congratulations. Very well done.

The eastern coastal waters (MA to NJ) seem to give up some bigger bass than more inland. Interesting.
