Jack A Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 I will be fighting traffic all summer on a construction job on the Cape and will need stress relief. I do quite a bit of saltwater fishing but I'm new to freshwater fishing and need advice. There are numerous ponds large and small on the Cape and I would opinions on the best lure to use to scout for fish (from shore) on a strange pond. Thanks in advance. Jack Quote
Bass Tard Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 Browse through some of these articles. Very informative. http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/features.html Quote
Tokyo Tony Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 My favorite search bait is a jerkbait (X-Rap or Lucky Craft Pointer), but you could also try a lipless crankbait, a regular crankbait, or a spinnerbait. Early and late you could use a topwater too. Quote
Super User Tin Posted May 5, 2008 Super User Posted May 5, 2008 There are no fish in any of the Cape ponds, they are all salt water. Right WTRDOG? Quote
