Super User BrianinMD Posted April 9, 2008 Super User Posted April 9, 2008 Anyone having any luck at Little Seneca Lake at Black Hills park? Been out twice, well once to fish, first time spent more time messing around with the "new" boat since it was my first time ever. Got skunked the second time, weather was cooperating but was still hoping to hook into a couple. Never tried the Fat Ika's before, stopped by Dick's Sporting Goods and grabbed a couple colors to try. Also grabbed a Plueger baitcast rod, its 6' 6" M/H spooled it with 12# mono. Need to get that first fish in the boat.... Quote
BadKarma42 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Haven't been there, but I think the fishing is pretty slow right now for the area (MD/PA). Quote
basser89 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 I work in Germantown so I get to sneak over at lunch. Lunch time has been REAL hit or miss. I had caught a couple on jigs around submerged timber. I have fished it after work on occassion and had mixed results. The spinnerbait bite is starting to pick up somewhat. I caught 3 in a little over an hour monday evening on a spinnerbait, my biggest one was 18". My biggest so far from Black Hills is 19 3/4" and weighed almost 4lbs. I caught that one on a Bass Pro Shop swimbait. I was out this evening and got blanked. I tried a spinnerbait, swimbait, tube and a deep diving crank this evening. Direct sun light has been the key on the days I've caught multiple bass. Hope this helps some! Quote
