Well you insulted the great and mystical Polo Pond, now your going to goose egg, I'll be going to a VooDoo priest today to make sure of it. For some extra security I think your lipless cranks might end up getting "misplaced" as well.

I heard they are using the Mystical Polo Pond, (herein refered to as the M.P.P.) for a zoo research project starting March 1, 2008. Several of the semi-aquatic bi-valve zoo residents will be released into the now CLEAN MPP and the study will begin!!! It will, in fact, be OOB for the rest of the year!!.....(I wonder if anyone believes me??...did I say that out loud??

Shout out to those of you traveling a great distance. If anyone at all needs a roof over thier head I have plenty of room and my roof is your roof ;) Though, I may not be getting much sleep the night before due to the excitement of the 1st T of the year, I promise not to wake you with my pacing! ;D

Paul, we are placing "out of staters" on boats, so they don't have to drag theirs all this way.  I think we are set right now but if we get another, would you have an extra seat?  Just in case?

Unfortunatley I don't I'm fishing with bestnetmanaround. Wish I could be of more help? Wait, I do have another boat..... 12' jon w/55# MinnKota, aeraited cooler and comfy Tracker seats. If anyone needs it they're welcome to it. I might even be able to deliver it to the pond as well.l I just have to see if it fits in the bed while trailering the Tracker I might be able to thow it on the racks if it doesn't. If something falls through with my partner I'll be sure to let you know.

awesome.  Bringing a partner already is hardly something to apologize for! lol

we'll keep the 12 jon in mind but are you sure you don't want to use it?  The bookies have tin2win  4 to 1! ;D If we need it, we'll get a truck up there the night before ;)  Great offer, thanks.

Yea, and this is a great one to burn the rust off your joints in preparation for the season to come.  The "cause" is always forefront in the mind and it's a bit more relaxed than a typical tournament.   I even think of it more as the season re-opener.  I get to see all the great guys I've met so far and all the old friends who also pop up to support new local folks i got to meet here over the winter.  Friends from afar who come to support, etc, it makes it more of a "gathering of the gang" and that makes me see it as more of a party.,lol..... I'm even thinking of rafting up with Matt5.0 and tin and breaking out the propane grill.  We can cook some burgers AND warm the hands, lol.

Alan, you bring the tater salad and chips,...who's got the soda??

That I can definately do.

The best sweet tea I've ever had was at the lodge at Lake Fork last year. I've been trying mimmick it ever since. I'm getting pretty close.  ;)

Ever since my mom went to the FLW Championship in Hot Springs she has been doing the same. I think she is on the 12th or 13th different mixture, it is pretty good. But not as good as down there.

O ya, but my big tin won't be in the Polo Pond, so you will have to come find me.  8-)
