Hey, i'm dying to go fishin, i've gone twice this cold march already in MA.  Havent caught anything yet cause its so cold and the water is so cold.  I know i have to fish REAL slow if I'm ever going to catch anything in this weather, but what lures would be good for this weather, how would you fish them?  :-/

Forget what you heard about fishing slow, rattle-traps and jerkbaits are two great baits for cold water up here.

But if want to fish slow, can't beat a jig.

Just went Sat. and caught 5 bass in 3hrs

2 were on the same jerkbait at the same time both 3lbs and I wasn't fishing that slow, 2 sec pause, 2 hard jerks

1 on 1/2oz black jig 4lb

1 on texas rig zoom worm cut to 3", 4lb

1 on mepps spinner with 6" plastic worm trailer 5lb

this spinner produces consistantly in cold weather

All fish were on rocks or rocky points
