Hey, I have been fishing local ponds lately since the ice cleared off them, but its been really hard to find bass. I got about 8 on saturday (all dinks) and then I went back to that same lake on monday, when it was even hotter, and only 2 bass (and they took me awhile to get).

Just wanted to know where you guys look for bass in March, drop offs? Cover? Deep water? Where do you look?

I have fished 3 places

All pretty much different and in two days I caught one and my buddy missed a monster and caught one of his own.

Before and after those fish we had no hits bites nibbles nothing...

I would suggest deeper water with weeds...

If you could fight some rocks or logs further out definitely hit those spots

We caught our fish on double willow spinner baits

In march, i look only 1 place to find bass - at BPS. Otherwise, walk out to your favorite deep dropoff, cut a hole, and lower a dropshotted tiny fluke AND HOLD ON TIGHT!.....

Drop offs in front of spawning coves, or structure such as stumps or rocks on humps close to where the bass winter in deeper water.
