MASS/CT VS. RI, Beach Pond June 1st, 2008

Ok, guys here we go. As Dirk said, I'm thinking 5 boats and 10 guys. Beach is a good size lake but you can get out of the wind. Depending on the boat situation, we might do electric only. June so the fish should be on beds or atleast the largies will be any way. A Connecticut or Rhode Island license, either or, no need to have both. Any more ideas????

Edit: 7am to 3pm, 5 best over 12"

Assemble your crews 8-)

I might be in if one of my buddies whose in FL right now comes back in time which he should. I'm 16, hes retired and older, but we'd make a great team. I'll have to email him about this. What's at stake?Any wagers goin down?

I don't want to rain on your tourney but............

I think you need a permit from the DEP...I don't know from what state though

Being this late, theres probably another club that already has that spot.

Sorry

Good luck though.

I can't make it b/c my year is already chuck full of events and my wifey would (well I can't say)

1st if you wanna seperate the men from the boys, the torney should be held in early April.Anybody can catch fish on beds, plus if you hit it right you'll catch more and bigger fish that time of year.If motors are allowed I'd like to fish.If It's trolling motor only (sounds like a R.I.) rule to me...lets see what happens.

Darn, I haven't fished that place in over 20 years. Unfortunately my 2nd T of the year is on Stafford that day :) Would have been cool meeting you guys and getting schooled at the same time! ;D

CHANGE THE DATE! :)

;D No need I run a 24 volt 80lb thrust MK on my Tracker. But I know what you mean, I love Stafford yet when the wind's up It can be quite a challange.

I would much rather be at Stafford than Beach anyway, lol. It will be loaded with largie beds then. Last year I caught a 2.5 pound female off a bed on the annual July 4th tourney.

Yeah, same here! Last year around that same time we got over 40 bass with five over 4lbs and two over 5+. I was teaching a few live bait fisherman the use of artificials, they both got there PB's that day on artificials. It had to be one of my, if not my best outing ever. She was a very happy girl! :)
