Super User Tin Posted February 2, 2008 Super User Posted February 2, 2008 MASS/CT VS. RI, Beach Pond June 1st, 2008 Ok, guys here we go. As Dirk said, I'm thinking 5 boats and 10 guys. Beach is a good size lake but you can get out of the wind. Depending on the boat situation, we might do electric only. June so the fish should be on beds or atleast the largies will be any way. A Connecticut or Rhode Island license, either or, no need to have both. Any more ideas???? Edit: 7am to 3pm, 5 best over 12" Assemble your crews 8-) Quote
Bass Hole Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 I'm in Outboards?. Run what you brung. 8 hours?. Lets seperate the men from the boys. Quote
=Matt 5.0= Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 I'm down... So does this mean 5 boats from R.I. and 2.5 boats from C.T./M.A. respectively? Quote
Bass Hole Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 yea mike three teams fifteen boats ? I like it I think beach will only permit 15 boats at the ramp maybe less better check. Quote

fishizzle Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I don't want to rain on your tourney but............ I think you need a permit from the DEP...I don't know from what state though Being this late, theres probably another club that already has that spot. Sorry Good luck though. I can't make it b/c my year is already chuck full of events and my wifey would (well I can't say) Quote
Bass Hole Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 No Rain nothing but sun shine. LOL Permits won't be a problem. Quote
WTRDOG Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 1st if you wanna seperate the men from the boys, the torney should be held in early April.Anybody can catch fish on beds, plus if you hit it right you'll catch more and bigger fish that time of year.If motors are allowed I'd like to fish.If It's trolling motor only (sounds like a R.I.) rule to me...lets see what happens. Bass Hole Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Bring it! ;D That the way to man up. But I think Tin droped the Idea becuse he didn't have any interest. Quote

Last year I caught a 2.5 pound female off a bed on the annual July 4th tourney. Quote

I was teaching a few live bait fisherman the use of artificials, they both got there PB's that day on artificials. It had to be one of my, if not my best outing ever. She was a very happy girl! Quote
