The Duke Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 What section of Michigan? That will determine a lot. The northern half will be completely different than the southern. Plus, what lakes are you going to be around? I can give you a better answer if you give me that information. God bless you and all of our armed forces! You're making America very proud! Quote
Zel Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Don't know about Michigan, but I fish some lakes in the Poconos and northern NJ in March when the water temp is in the mid 40's. My goto bait for cold water bass is a suspending jerkbait worked very slowly, and letting it sit for a while between motions seems to be key. Also, thanks for your service, and stay safe over there!!! Quote
llPa1nll Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Im fishing out of NH. I start fishing as soon as the lakes have hit Ice out, usually late March or early April. I usually have tied on a jig, some plastics on a football head jig, Shaky head worm, jerk bait, blade bait. I hope this helps. I want to give a big Thank You to you and your fellow members of the Armed Forces, remember to stay safe over there and may you have a quick and happy home coming too... Quote
