Bassin_49er Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 Some many fishing guides - how to pick one? Any recomendation on a light tackle/inshore guide in the area? Quote
bitemyworm Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 check out the trip advisor website in the Los Cabos forums. You can generally search fishing for threads re: fishing that contain recommendations for guides. Quote
bitemyworm Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I noticed you did post on Tripadvisor looking for some information and I hope some people respond. I stayed at Dreams last year, which is located on the Corridor. I cannot recall if it is the Westin that has swimmable beachor maybe the Sheraton, but most areas in Cabo and Los Cabos are not swimmable due to extremely strong undertows/rip currents. I mention this because surf fishing may prove difficuly due to the force of the waves. It seems like every week there is a story of somone drowning around Cabo. Many of these people were not swimming, but merely walking the beach or ankle deep in water when a large wave knocked them down and dragged them out. I don't want to spoil your fun but mention it only so you're cognizant. Have fun, and if you have anymore questions about Cabo, let me know. Quote
